Learning to identify waste is a basic skill that is essential to nearly all of the Lean tools. Getting a group of 'wasteologists' on your team will go a long way towards streamlining your organization.

Our training exercises let you use the crawl-walk-run approach to developing skills. The best way to learn is by doing, but you want people to have a good chance of success before they venture out to track down waste on their own. Our training exercise gives an instructor a chance to observe the trainees' thought process and provide coaching that can make their first attempt at scrutinizing a process more effective.

This exercise takes 15-20 minutes and can be completed in a classroom with some flipcharts and markers.
